After vacuum packing, the foams may need to be left for 1-2 hours or up to 1 day to recover their original thickness. Toolbox foams inserts are vacuum packed for shipping. After opening the package, allow the foams to rest for 1-2 hours, or even a full day, to return to their original thickness. Alternatively, placing them in water followed by drying them will restore the foam to its original size.
